SCHOOL RULES FOR PUPILS

- 1. A student must carry his/her Almanac to school everyday.
- 2. Pupil should be punctual and regular every day.
- 3. A child's performance in every test is important for his/her promotion. Parents are requested to make sure that children are well prepared for the tests and are not be absent.
- 4. Students must reach the bus pickup point in advance.
- 5. Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniforms have to be worn on every working day.
- 6. Boys should get their hair cut in a military pattern at regular intervals.
- 7. Girls should plait their hair if it is below the shoulder. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.
- 8. Be respectful to the elders, school employees, fellow students and all the visitors to the school.
- 9. Medium of communication on the campus and while travelling in the school-bus will be in English.
- 10. Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property.
- 11. Loitering on corridors during working hours is not permitted.
- 12. Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery to school.(No chains, rings and bracelets).Girls may wear only one pair of small ear rings.
- 13. Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers/ elders whenever they meet them.
- 14. Students should abide by the school rules.
- 15. In any case of serious indiscipline in the school, a student may be expelled from the school, and it is mandatory for the parents to come and collect the ward.
- 16. Any electronic items such as cameras, mobile, i pod, walkman, CD, transistors or pocket radios are not permitted.
- 17. Every student should be regular in submitting home assignments.
- 18. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited.
- 19. The school property and environment are to be protected carefully. Any person causing damage to the above mentioned will be punished.
- 20. Study material and personal belongings should be neatly arranged and kept in shipshape manner.
- 21. Parents and guardians must not visit their wards or teachers in the classrooms without the permission of the principal.
- 22. Parents, please note that once a child come to school, he/she should not be asked to come home on half day leave or leave from any period unless there is an emergency, in which case permission should be taken from the Principal.
- 23. The school reserve the right to suspend students where the progress in studies and conduct is found to be unsatisfactory.
- 24. Late comers will be marked absent for the day.
- 25. Presents and gifts of any kind to any staff members are strictly prohibited.
- 26. School will not be responsible for the loss of personal items brought by the students.
- 27. No money should be paid for any purpose without a written circular /appeal from the Principal.
- 28. Students are required to keep class rooms clean.
- 29. Attendance is compulsory on the first and last working day of every term.
- 30. No student shall indulge in any of the following practices namely :
- a) Splitting in or near the school building.
- b) Damaging school property.
- c) Rude behavior and filthy language.
- d) Use of violence in any form.
- e) Bringing CDs and mobile.
